Title: In vivo Chemical Crosslinking to Decipher Protein Conformation and Interaction in Large Scale

Prof. Dr. Lihua Zhang is the director of the Division of Biotechnology in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interest is focused on the development of new methods for proteome qualitation, quantitation and interaction. She has developed various sample preparation methods, and also devotes herself in the synthesis of new separation materials to improve the peak capacity for proteome analysis. Recently, her research is focused on the development of in-vivo chemical cross-linking MS methods to achieve the large-scale analysis of protein conformation and interaction in living cells with deep coverage and high accuracy. She won the second Prize for National Natural Science Award in 2012, and obtained the funding for Outstanding Young Scientists from National Natural Science Committee in 2017. Till now, she has published more than 300 SCI papers in journals such as Cell, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, PNAS, Advanced Science, Molecular and Cellular Proteomics and Analytical Chemistry.
