Title: Highly efficient method for immobilization of endogenous natural protein

Xinfeng Zhao is a Professor in the College of Life Sciences at Northwest University (Xi’an, China) since 2016. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Northwest University in 2001 and Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2005, respectively. He obtained his doctorate in pharmacology in 2009 at Xi’an Jiaotong University and then pursued postdoctoral studies in pharmacology at the University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK) in 2010. He has been a Senior Visiting Scholar in the Department of Chemistry at Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN, USA) in 2017. He has been dedicated to the innovative research in three aspects: 1, developed one-step immobilization methods for large scale preparation of immobilized transmembrane proteins without loss of the activity; 2, developed the new theories and techniques to analyze the receptor-ligand interactions using receptor chromatography; 3, developed the new methodology for employing receptor protein chromatography to screen the active components from complex systems.
