Title: Microchip capillary electrophoresis for on-line analysis

Professor Qiaosheng Pu received his Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry at Lanzhou University in 1998 and conducted postdoctoral research at Northeastern University (China), the University of Twente (the Netherlands), Texas Tech University and Virginia Commonwealth University (USA) from 1998 to 2007, working on the topics including atomic spectrometry, functional polymers for analytical applications, flow injection, and microfluidic analysis. In 2007, he established his research group at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University. His research primarily focuses on developing low-cost, robust, and miniaturized microchip and capillary electrophoresis devices, as well as creating reliable analytical protocols using these devices with the aid of novel nanomaterials and 3D printing. He currently serves as the director of the Institute of Analytical Chemistry and has (co)authored over 140 peer-reviewed papers.
