Title: Accurate Chemical Profiling of Single Cells by a Novel Sampling Method and Ultra-sensitive CE-MS

Takayuki Kawai is an Associate Professor of Bioanalytical Chemistry at Kyushu University (2021–present). He received his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Tokyo in 2006 and his Ph.D. in Engineering from Kyoto University in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Koji Otsuka. He subsequently conducted research in microscale bioanalytical chemistry as a postdoctoral researcher at AIST (2012–2013), Nagoya University and the University of Illinois (2013–2014), and later as a research scientist at RIKEN (2014–2020). His current research focuses on the development of ultra-sensitive capillary electrophoresis systems based on “dual-stacking” technologies, with the aim of elucidating complex biological systems and advancing medical and pharmaceutical applications.
