Title: Standard-free Concentration and Toxicity Prediction in Non-target Screening

Dr. Frank Menger is an analytical chemist specializing in liquid chromatography–high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) with a focus on standard-free quantification of small molecules from tandem mass spectra. His work integrates advanced data processing with machine-learning models to enable exposure estimation when reference standards are unavailable. In parallel, he applies structure-based toxicity prediction to estimate chemical hazards. Combined, these tools allow the prioritization of potential high-risk chemicals purely from chemical-analytical data and in the absence of reference standards. Dr. Frank Menger has experience across environmental, biological, and plastic-related applications, contributing to method development, data treatment approaches for non-target screening, and data interpretation. His research aims to bridge analytical measurement and predictive toxicology, improving early-detection and decision-making for emerging contaminants and unknown chemicals.
